- 2013: Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace found that 76% of employees in Singapore are not engaged at work. By comparison, the study reports that globally 63% are not engaged. In Singapore, only 9% are actively engaged at work. This study had 73,000 non-USA respondents and an addition 151,000 in the USA.
- 2014: Kelly Services’ Engaging Active and Passive Job Seekers found that in Singapore 20% of the workforce is fully engaged while globally the average was 31%. This study had 230,000 participants across 31 countries.
Seeing how Singapore has made productivity such a priority, perhaps we are missing the obvious.
