Michael Netzley, Ph.D.

ADr. Netzley serves as a Principal in Leadership Consulting at Heidrick & Struggles, Singapore. He focuses his energy on accelerating executive careers through impactful learning and development. Dr. Netzley has personally taught or coached more than 10,000 executives since arriving in Asia. Before joining H&S, he served as the Academic Director of Executive Development (Singapore Management University) and was a key part of the team that tripled revenue in only three years. Prior to that, he spent 17 years as a faculty member in the SMU School of Business and the Carlson School of Business at University of Minnesota. Michael's work was recognised in 2011 with the prestigious Champions’ Award for innovative course design and delivery, awarded the Best Case prize from EFMD in 2015, and has been featured in the New York Times and MIT's Technology Review magazine. His innovative teaching has also been featured in the New York Times.
